Today is Fathers Day!
You will notice me in the middle of two of the greatest parents on the face of this earth. In the entire Universe. I have never known anything but love from them. They are spiritual rocks to me. This Fathers Day is especially hard for my dad. How does a couple, over the course of their lives cope with the unexpected death of not just one, but two of their children. It has to be the most difficult, painful valleys that anyone can walk. Yet, they are still walking. Still pressing on. Still standing. Still trusting in a God who loves them. Still looking for the good in life. They are truely AMAZING! I admire and honor my "daddy" today, and every day. I love you Dad!
Then to the Father of my children. A man who has taught us to do what is right, even when it costs something. To forgive even when it hurts, and to love unconditionally, even the unlovely. His humor has lightened our home and our hearts. He has taught us to be generous even when we "don't have it", Walk the extra mile, trust when we can't figure it out, have faith when everything around us looks hopeless, and to believe in a God that does all things well. You are our Hero.!
